This is one the topics that I have been longing to write on.It's not a request,it's a revolt saying that we can't handle it anymore..... YES YOU ALL MEN THERE...WE CAN'T AND WON'T TOLERATE IT ANYMORE!!!!The first slutwalk was held in Toronto in Jan' 11.And that sparked the fire of slutwalk.
Now what does slutwalk basically mean?? IT'S NOT A PARADE OF SLUTS!!!
IT'S A WAY IN WHICH WOMEN REVOLT AGAINST SEXUAL HARASSMENT BY MEN ON WOMEN.THE NAME WAS GIVEN BECAUSE A CONSTABLE NAMED MICHEAL SANGUINETTI, A TORONTO POLICE OFFICER, SUGGESTED THAT TO REMAIN SAFE, “ WOMEN SHOULD AVOID DRESSING LIKE SLUTS”.

Every year there are so many women and girls becoming victims of these reckless men.
Some revolt against it but most of them keep quiet. Estimates from research suggest that 75-95% of cases are never reported.They suffer and die from inside yet can’t utter any word either of because of the society or because of the rapists. Many of the rapists kill their victims after the sexual assault so that their crimes can never be revealed. So many cases are there where the teen girls are victim of their own boyfriend (especially date rapes).Many women are raped by their own husbands!!!!!!
And when those culprits are asked “WHY?”, they said because they were distracted by the clothes the women or the girls were wearing. I know that vulgar clothes can be the cause but not all women had worn provocative clothes while the crime occurred. Now you only tell, if a 7 year old girl was raped then does that means that she was wearing any BIKINI then????Or if you take a case of an old woman, then what would you say??? What provocative clothe was she wearing??
Does the same thing happens in the opposite sex????? Do women run to rape the guys who roam in the streets wearing bermudas?????Then why does this happen when a girl wears shorts???
That’s my question to all the boys sitting there…..or rather my statement…
“It’s not always clothes that is the cause of those CRIMES…..It’s the mentality of the men to think women as only SEXUAL OBJECTS!!!The mentality has to be changed…not the clothes!!.Learn to love and respect women and girls.They are the ones who nurture you and bring you to this world.You owe lots to them. Give them the dignity and the place in the society they deserve."
SO GIRLS DON’T BE AFRAID!!! LET’S REVOLT AGAINST THIS UGLY CRIME…!!!
