HOLLYWOOD Vs BOLLYWOOD (movie and soap)

 

I know,the above pic is hilarious and it tells the truth about the condition of TODAY'S bollywood.These are why I feel Hollywood is better than Bollywood:-


#1 Bollywood lacks ORIGINALITY and CREATIVITY whereas Hollywood does have them both.Hollywood either uses original plots or uses the plots of various novels (which I feel is a great thing to do).But Bollywood just copies (or rather just dubs in hindi) the Hollywood movies.Sometimes I feel that they just ruin (AND LITERALLY RUIN) the whole plot of the corresponding Hollywood movies.Here are some of the examples of Bollywood copying Hollywood.:-


a. Chocolate (Anil Kapoor) ~ The Usual Suspects (1995) {EXACT COPY}

b. We are family ( Karan Johar ) ~ Stepmom (1998 )

c. Meri Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai  ( Sanjay Gadhvi ) ~ My Best Friend's Wedding (1997)

d. Koi Mil Gaya ( Rakesh Roshan ) ~ E.T. (1982),Forrest Gump (1994)

e.Murder ( Anurag Basu ) ~ Unfaithful ( 2002 )

f. Hum Tum ( Kunal Kohli ) ~ When Harry Met Sally ( 2004 )

g. Main Aisa Hi Hoon ( Harry Baweja ) ~ I Am Sam ( 2001 ) {EXACT COPY}

h. Salaam Namaste (Siddarth Anand ) ~ Nine Months ( 1995 )

and the list is ENDLESS!!!!!!

#2 I am fed up watching those TYPICAL Bollywood songs,that I don't know,pop up from where and just start playing in the middle of the movie...and that too without even having any link with the on going story.I mean,don't know who got this idea of composing any crap song and inserting it in the middle of a movie without making any SENSE.And one of the funniest part is.....THE SONG GOES ON AND ON TILL 3-4 DAYS AND THE ACTOR AND ACTRESS ,DON'T KNOW HOW, CHANGE THEIR CLOTHES AND HAIRSTYLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SONG....Isn't it magical??? :P

And yes the song goes on while the location also changes.....with some weird kind of dance...!!! lolzzzz...

It's like first they compose any kind of song and then they try to insert it in the middle of movie by making all sorts of changes in the main plot.Means they try to turn the plot upside down just for a stupid song!!!!!! how idiotic!!

And also I don't know what is the concept behind those stupid item songs....I guess they just try to cover up a really bad story by having any kind of sh*ty item song in it just to catch the attention of all those cheap audience...{ I think Chhammak chhallo is the most decent item song ever,...I mean in songs like 'Sheila ki Jawani' "I'm too sexy for you,main terre hath na ani".....NAHI ANA HAI TOH MAT A....WHY ARE YOU SINGING THAT??? :P }
Whereas in hollywood either they have songs in appropriate places (like in the movie step up while the dances they have song,and those dances mean ACTUAL DANCE) or they have those soothing background scores or soundtracks....And those soundtracks seem to be soooo apt for those scenes....I really appreciate their choice.

And then comes item songs....ya there are songs in hollywood also that we can say as item songs like those of lady gaga....but I think that they have some meaning in them and that they don't sound cheap...They sound like they have some kind of standard in them which the Bollywood ones lack.....!!!!

#3 In  Bollywood,even the poorest of people will have more no. of clothes than we have...everyday a new set of clothes....BE PRACTICAL....DO THEY THINK US STUPID OR DO THEY WANNA SHOW THEIR STUPIDITY????
Hollywood doesn't lack that practicality.

#4 And then comes the usage of technology...How beautifully did Hollywood make AVATAR & HARRY POTTER..!!! It was just AWESOME...MINDBLOWING!!! It was like Pandora and Hogwarts REALLY EXIST!!!!! and so do the people.!!!
Sometimes I think what would have happened if Bollywood would have tried to make the remake of AVATAR....it would have been a hit.....but as a comedy!! :P lolzz

#5 Then comes soaps and serials.....OMG...they are soooo miserable....The housewives,always in those party wear saris,with those heavy makeups EVEN WHEN THEY ARE SLEEPING??!!!!!!! and then when it's time to go out somewhere..."MAIN TAIYAAR HOKAR ATI HU"....I say " AUR KITNA TAIYAAR HONA HAI!!!!!?????????????"

And then the protagonist girl will have all sorts of problems coming up that could exist....I mean first problem with marriage,now marriage done then with those devranis and jethanis,then baby complications,then husband complications,then another women in her marriage and then the ANOTHER WOMEN tries to kill her, and then if she succeeds tht protagonist will die....she won't be there in scene for few episodes and then comes the awesome comedy.......PLASTIC SURGERY!!!!!! if it's like the protagonist just got saved somehow from a fire ....then now she comes with undergoing plastic surgery...DON'T KNOW WHO WAS SOOOOOO GENEROUS TO PERFORM HER  WITHOUT ANY MONEY........OR WAS SHE HAVING HER CREDIT CARD WITH HER WHEN SHE WAS KILLED ...!!!! and then who said plastic surgery makes any person SHORTER OR TALLER OR CHANGES THEIR VOICE!!!! I just laugh how all these serials lack a thing named COMMON SENSE or PRACTICALITY...Whereas in Hollywood all seems so practical,so real!!!!! there are no devrani-jethani problem,there is no ULTRA-MIRACULOUS PLASTIC SURGERY ...They just have a simple story,....with everything practical and realistic ....and yes they do have common sense,....!!!!


So that's what I feel....

One of the worst practices in India-DOWRY!!

Reena's marriage just got fixed with Raj.All were so happy.Reena's mother,father and her 3 sisters started the preparations for her marriage.They had to do so many things,had to arrange so many stuffs,had to invite so many people.There was such a festive environment in their home.But then came one day.Raj's parents wanted to meet Reena's parents for some further talks.They came to their home and started with their talks.Raj's father said,"Everything is well and fine.Only one thing is there that we want and that too for our children.We only want a car (and that too not a 1 lac NANO),some household goods (that means all of them) and a bit of cash (not less than 1-2 lakhs)".Everyone was quiet.And that's when everything got ruined.....

Dowry is one of the worst practices followed in India.People ask for lacs of lacs money in form of dowry.I think,WHY THIS DOWRY???? I admit that newly wedded couple need some kind of financial assistance for settling there lives but this doesn't mean that they needs to be spoon-fed with a huge sum of money and that to from the girl's side.I mean can't the to-be groom's parents also contribute for the 'needed' financial assistance.

What do these people think?Are the to-be-bride's parents the treasury for the marriage????Or do they have their names on world's richest people's list??????Even if they are one of the world's richest people,then too why should they give dowry????

I think dowry as something like buying the groom.It's like "YOU GIVE ME THE GROOM AND TAKE THE MONEY INSTEAD"...{GROOM TRAFFICKING} :P  and so I think that if any groom is taking dowry then it means he is loosing his SELF RESPECT...making himself a PRIVATE PROPERTY of the bride.... :D :P

Sooooo many women are harassed (both physically and mentally),burnt alive,stabbed to death,compelled them to suicide and what not just for a huge amount of bulsh*t money that these narrow minded people think has a greater value than a LIFE...What do they think???? Do they have any special GREEN CARD to take all these money with them when they will go to HELL....!!!!

That's why I think that DOWRY is crime,it's a sin actually...and I hope people do understand that it's not a way to show their status in the freaking society....If you really wanna show something then please stop practising dowry and show to the society that you have something in you called HUMANITY!!!

{I know that you people will laugh but I think that if there are something called WITCHES in here then I plead to them to attack on every people who have taken dowry from the brides :P }

Why I love ♥ TWILIGHT saga (book and movie both) ♥

Sooo.... there are many reasons why I like Twilight....and mind it ...the reasons aren't stupid..sooo starting with the reasons:-
#1 : Because it's a very beautiful love story.It's not just a simple love story.It's how a predator falls in love with his prey and vice versa.It's about how a vampire loves a girl.I mean not even a simple guy can love her girl so much.Edward loved Bella like hell,cared about her sooo much (even during honeymoon he was like he won't touch Bella as she was fragile and he might hurt her and Bella tried so hard to seduce him ;) ).He was 10000% loyal.He loved a girl who was just a mere human.I mean she wouldn't have meant anything to any other vampire ( besides a delicious meal ).

And then Bella also loved him truly.Now don't mix her love for Edward with her friendship with Jacob..( she kissed him only once and that too just because to save him otherwise he would have got himself killed in that battle ). Bella always cared for Edward.She loved him soooo much that she could have done anything (and literally anything) just to see Edward's hallucination ( in New Moon ).
#2 Because Edward is a LOVING,CARING,LOYAL,DECENT,NON-SMOKING,NON-DRINKING,NON-DRUGGIE,INTELLIGENT,HANDSOME,TALENTED,VIRGIN(before his marriage),PERFECT,GENTLEMAN vampire..... (and I think that a guy with all these qualities is an EXTINCT SPECIES in today's world ).AND YESSS...BECAUSE OF HIS KILLER SMILE!!! ;)

 #3 Because it is a story about vampires but it didn't make vampire and werewolves SCARY.....I can't tolerate horror movies and TWILIGHT  being a story about vampires and werewolves but still not being a HORROR movie....amused and fascinated me.

#4 Because Stephanie Meyer wrote the novel in such a beautiful manner.With simple English in such a romantic way.I loved it!!!

#5 Because of the Father-Daughter relationship shown.Both Bella and Charlie were sooo much alike.....Both were shy and reserved.Loved the scene in Breaking Dawn when Bella was bidding goodbye to Charlie.

#6 Because of those lovely,soothing,beautiful scores and those 'the most appropriate' soundtracks chosen for the movie....especially the score ♫♫♫  BELLA'S LULLABY ♫♫♫ ....

#7 Because of the awesome cast selection. When I read the book....I had imagined Edward exactly like Robert Pattinson and Bella exactly like Kristen Stewart.

#8 Because of such a great best friend JACOB BLACK :)
